Deux nouvelles espèces de Gongora (Orchidaceae) de Guyane

Deux nouvelles espèces de Gongora, observées dans les régions de Saül et de Camopi, dans le centre de la Guyane, sont ici décrites, illustrées et comparées aux espèces les plus proches. La première, traitée sous le nom de Gongora catalanoi, est comparée à G. pleiochroma, G. nigrita et G. histrionica. Elle se distingue principalement par un labelle avec un hypochile pourvu de longues cornes, discrètement canaliculées sur la surface ventrale et brusquement incurvées vers le haut. La seconde, Gongora jennyi, est comparée à G. retrorsa. La plante se distingue par des fleurs entièrement rose nacre, un labelle avec un onglet très court, un hypochile triangulaire pourvu de cornes situées quasi en partie médiane, rétrorses et légèrement retombantes. Une carte de répartition géographique accompagne les descriptions.
Abstract
Two new species of Gongora, observed in the regions of Saül and Camopi, in central French Guiana, are here described, illustrated and compared to the closest species. The first, treated as Gongora catalanoi, is compared to G. pleiochroma, G. nigrita and G. histrionica. It is mainly distinguished by a lip with a hypochile provided with long horns, discreetly canaliculated on the ventral surface and sharply curved upwards. The second, Gongora jennyi, is compared to G. retrorsa. The plant is distinguished by its flowers entirely pearl pink, a lip with a very short base, a triangular hypochile provided with horns located almost in the middle part, pointing backwards and slightly drooping. A geographic distribution map goes with the descriptions.
