A new form of Galeandra styllomisantha (Orchidaceae: Catasetinae) from the Brazilian Amazon

Résumé
Nous proposons et décrivons ici une nouvelle forme de Galeandra styllomisantha provenant du District de Coração, situé dans la zone ouest de Macapá, capitale de l’état d’Amapá, Brésil. Une description taxinomique détaillée est fournie, accompagnée d’informations sur l’habitat, l’écologie et la distribution géographique. Nous présentons également une clé pour déterminer Galeandra dans l’état d’Amapá. La nouvelle forme a été comparée à la forme typique de l’espèce et se distingue par ses fleurs entièrement blanches.
Abstract
We propose in this article a new form of Galeandra styllomisantha from the District of Coração, located in the western part of Macapá, capital of the Amapá state, Brazil. A detailed taxonomic description is given together with information relating to habitat, ecology and geographical distribution. We also present a key for determining Galeandra in the state of Amapá, Brazil. The new form is compared with the typical form of the species and differs in its completely white flowers.
Resumo
Aqui é descrita e proposta uma nova forma de Galeandra styllomisantha proveniente do Distrito do Coração localizado na zona oeste de Macapá, capital do Estado do Amapá, Brasil. Apresentamos uma descrição taxonômica detalhada e informações referentes ao habitat, ecologia e distribuição geográfica. Apresentamos também uma chave de determinação das Galeandra no estado do Amapá. A nova forma é comparada com a forma típica da espécie e se difere pelas flores totalmente brancas.
